The Fat Freezing Specialist

Lymphatic drainageRoyal Tunbridge Wells

Pressotherapy

A gentle, full-body compression treatment that moves lymph, eases fluid retention and softens the look of cellulite. Clients describe it as deeply relaxing, and I use it most often after fat freezing.

How the suit does the work

Unlike manual lymphatic drainage, which is done by hand, pressotherapy uses a computer-controlled garment so the pressure is even and several areas move at once.

01

A suit, not a pair of hands

You wear a multi-section garment around the legs, abdomen and arms. Air is pumped through the chambers in sequence, so several areas are treated at once rather than one limb at a time.

02

Pressure that mimics a massage

The chambers inflate and deflate in a rhythm. That movement encourages lymph and blood to circulate, which is how retained fluid and waste start to move.

03

Your body does the clearing

Pressotherapy does not remove fat cells. It supports the system that already clears fluid and, after fat freezing, the cells that treatment has already destroyed.

What it is actually good for

The old clinic page listed a long wellness menu. These are the benefits I will stand behind in the room.

  • Eases swelling and water retention
  • Softens the look of cellulite
  • Relieves tired, heavy legs
  • Supports circulation
  • Soothes muscle stiffness after training
  • Pairs cleanly with fat freezing

After fat freezing

This is the pairing I use most. Lymphatic drainage helps your body clear the treated cells. I often add 30 minutes after a freeze, and the same session is also bookable on its own.

Fluid, puffiness and cellulite

Regular sessions can take the puffiness out of the arms, legs and midsection. It is not a weight-loss treatment. The change you see is fluid and tone, not a smaller cell count.

Athletic recovery

The compression is useful after hard training, especially in the legs. Clients come for the lightness as much as for the look.

Around surgery

Some clients use it to prepare the lymphatic system before a planned procedure, then again once they have healed. Immediately after surgery I still prefer manual lymphatic drainage by hand, and only move to the suit once you have been cleared.

Suitability

Who I will not treat

Compression is gentle, not universal. If any of these apply, tell me before we book.

  • You are pregnant
  • You have a history of DVT, phlebitis or active clots
  • You have a heart or kidney condition that has not been cleared
  • You have pronounced varicose veins or unmanaged blood pressure
  • You have severe asthma, osteoporosis, open wounds or an active cancer diagnosis
  • You are within a few weeks of surgery and have not been cleared to treat

Honest prices, no extras at the clinic

A single session is the public booking. Courses are cheaper per visit and I arrange those with you after we know what you actually need.

If you are already having fat freezing, 30 minutes of drainage can be added to that appointment rather than booked as a separate visit. Send a note with your assessment and I will tell you which is cleaner.

Asked before the first session

Straight answers from the old pressotherapy page, rewritten for how I actually treat.

What is pressotherapy?
It is a non-invasive lymphatic drainage treatment. A computer-controlled suit applies intermittent air pressure through inflatable chambers, which moves retained fluid and supports circulation. Unlike manual lymphatic drainage, it treats several areas at once.
How does it feel?
Most people describe a firm, progressive squeeze, like a deep massage. It should not be painful. If a chamber feels too strong I turn it down.
How long is a session?
The treatment itself is 30 minutes of compression. The appointment is booked as 45 minutes so there is time to get you into the garment and out of it. Wear or bring a loose t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or leggings.
Will I see a result after one session?
Tired legs often feel lighter the same day. Changes in puffiness and the look of cellulite build across a course. I usually suggest weekly sessions, or two a week for a fortnight if cellulite is the main concern.
How much does pressotherapy cost?
A single session is £75. A course of four is £280 and a course of eight is £580. Courses are arranged with me rather than booked as eight separate public slots.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes. I regularly pair it with fat freezing, and it sits well next to radio frequency or cavitation. It does not replace those treatments. It helps the body handle what they have already done.
Are there side effects?
When it is suitable, the usual after-effects are mild redness or a temporary feeling of heaviness as fluid moves. Drink water before and after. If you have a circulatory or clotting history, tell me before we book. I will not treat through a contraindication.
Is it safe in pregnancy?
No. I do not treat during pregnancy. That is a precaution, not a claim that the treatment is proven harmful, and I would rather wait.

Not sure if drainage is what you need?

Send a photo or a short note. I will say whether pressotherapy helps on its own, or whether it belongs after a freeze.
