Radio frequency skin tightening
Controlled heat in the deeper layers of skin, so collagen tightens and rebuilds. I use it on the face, neck, stomach and arms when firmness is the problem, not leftover fat. It is not a surgical lift, and I will not sell it as one.
Heat, then collagen, then time
As skin matures, connective tissue thins and the surface shows it. Radio frequency does not resurface you like a peel. It works from the dermis out.
01
Heat reaches the dermis
Radio frequency energy is delivered into the skin so the tissue where collagen sits warms in a controlled way. The surface is protected. The work happens underneath.
02
Existing fibres tighten first
That local heat makes collagen fibres contract, so some firmness can be felt early. It is a tightening of what is already there, not a new face overnight.
03
New collagen builds slowly
Fibroblasts respond to the heat by laying down more collagen over the following weeks. A facial course is weekly for eight weeks because that is how long the dermis needs to train, not because a machine timer says so.
- How it feels
- Most clients call it a warm massage. Discomfort is uncommon. I work to a heat that is effective, not a heat you have to endure.
- How long it takes
- A radio frequency facial is booked as 75 minutes. The old clinic note was about 40 minutes of radio frequency, often followed by a short mask. Body sessions are shorter and depend on the area.
- Downtime
- None required. The skin can look a little flushed for a short time. You can go back to your day.
- When you will see it
- Some tightness can show early. The useful change builds through a course and keeps settling after the last session. Results vary, and I will not guarantee a specific look.
What I will not claim
Firmer skin, not a miracle
The old 3D page talked about younger-looking skin. Some of that can be true. The useful half is knowing where it stops.
- This is not a surgical facelift and I will not describe it as one.
- Loose skin after a large weight loss may need more than radio frequency can give.
- Fat freezing removes volume. Radio frequency is for the skin that remains.
- One session can freshen an area. A course is what changes how the skin behaves.
Face and neck
The treatment I book most often. Bipolar energy is suited to thinner, more delicate skin, where the aim is smoother fine lines and a firmer surface rather than a pulled look.
Body
Stomach and arms after fat reduction, when the skin has not quite followed the volume change. Body pricing depends on the area, so I will not publish a single figure that then has to be unpicked at the clinic.
Published facial prices, body by assessment
Every figure below comes from the booking menu. If an area is not priced, it is because it should not be guessed.
Send a photograph of the area. I will tell you whether radio frequency is the right tool, whether it belongs after fat freezing, or whether the skin needs something I do not offer.
Radio frequency
From £50
Facial £75. Facial with LED £100. Course of 8 £500. Body priced after I see the area.
- Face, neck, stomach and arms
- Weekly facial course when a one-off will not be enough
- £10 deposit on paid facial bookings
- Often paired with fat freezing, never instead of honesty
Asked before a course
Including the question the old page answered badly: this is not a facelift.
How does radio frequency skin tightening work?
Is it painful?
How many sessions will I need?
When will I see results?
Can it replace a facelift?
Do you still offer mesotherapy with radio frequency?
How much does it cost?
Can it be combined with fat freezing?
Send a photo of the skin, not just the fat
If laxity is the real problem I will say so. If fat freezing should come first, I will say that instead.
